a local nonprofit working to improve the social, economic, and environmental health of distressed and transitional communities by building capacity to reclaim vacant and underutilized land. Anna's work focuses on preventative maintenance and community stewardship to help turn land use liabilities into assets.

Serves on the Clean Pittsburgh Commission and Vacant Property Working Group.

Director, Hope For All and Y Achievers Programs - YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh. Hope For All aims to connect households to appropriate resources, ranging from SNAP benefits and housing support to utility assistance; Y Achievers is a college- and career-readiness program for middle- and high-school students.

10+ years experience in Pittsburgh's nonprofit sector. Since his days as a community organizer in the Hill District, Jose has been intimately aware of the issues facing the region's most vulnerable.


Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Jose earned his master and bachelor degrees in social work from the University of Pittsburgh.

Jose also sits on the boards of two other local nonprofits.

Currently manage subcontractors and clients in Pittsburgh and surrounding region.

Christa has over 10 years as a real estate agent with RE/MAX Select Realty in the neighborhoods of Pittsburgh’s East End and East Suburbs. She specializes in working with Community Development organizations servicing their real estate needs, Green and Energy efficient homes and as a marketing expert for home sellers. 


Christa is a member of ReEnergize Pittsburgh, working to improve energy efficiency of homes in the Pittsburgh area and has a degree from Ohio University in Communications and Graphic Design

Policy Analyst- Financial & Digital Inclusion

Owner, Chef - The Hungry Cao, LLC

Hailing from State College (Go State!) Pennsylvania, she moved to Pittsburgh for graduate school at GSPIA and graduated in 2015 and has worked in and around local government ever since.

In line with advancing equity and starting conversations around race and social justice, Itha through her private food business, The Hungry Cao provides authentic, gourmet Chinese & globally-inspired night markets, cook-a-longs, and unique food tastings for small events and private dinner experiences.  Her mission is to open minds to new flavors, and start conversations about culture, diversity and information exchange in our global world. Proceeds from The Hungry Cao are donated regularly to local and international charitable efforts.
